Don’t Quit Your Day Job

Don’t Quit Your Day Job

We’ve noticed that a lot of our prospective students have something in common – an anxiety about a switch to a full-time class for twelve weeks.

Some of the 20-30-somethings we talk to already have a part- or full-time job. Some can leave them to prepare to start new careers in web development, yet some have mandatory obligations and simply cannot.

Some are already in school, some live far from Irvine and don’t want to add a daily commute, and some want to get their feet wet before they dive head-first into a full-immersion bootcamp.

The Good News

Now we have a JavaScript Fundamentals course to begin November 10, and will only meet for two hours – from 7:00pm to 9:00pm – on Monday and Wednesday nights. It is the perfect compromise for all the students described above:

  • It allows those that have work/school obligations to begin learning web development after hours – from 7:00 – 9:00pm.  They don’t have to quit anything they’re already involved in.
  • It allows those that are apprehensive about forking out $10,000+ for our full-immersion program an affordable option (it costs just $2,500) to still get quality training they’ll need to develop their web programming career.
  • It allows those that live far to not have to kill themselves in traffic five days a week.  Instead, they only have to kill themselves twice per week (but hey, there’s no traffic at 7:00pm, so you’ve got that going for you!).

In a nutshell, our JavaScript Fundamentals class gets you going in the right direction without you having to “unbecome” you.  Check out this page that details the curriculum.  There’s a sign up form so that you can get more information.
