FAQ

+ What is the difference between the full-time and the part-time program?

The full-time program is conducted in a condensed, intensive 18-week period of time. In contrast, the part-time program is taken in modules over an extended period to ensure students with all schedule types can commit the necessary focused hours found in the full-time program.

Despite these differences, both programs culminate with graduates who are professionally ready to compete for jobs in the market and develop production-ready code. The part-time program is optimized for students who are not able to take the full-time option due to employment or personal obligations.

+ What are the cost and payment options for the part-time program?

Each module of the program is $9,000. Students who take advantage of the early registration discount ($250) can expect to pay $8,750.

Students can also take advantage of the "Up-Front Discount" of $1,000 by paying for both modules up-front. Students should contact admissions if interested in taking advantage of this discount. Payment can be made via credit, debit, cash, or check.

Students can also apply for a loan through Ascent for each module. Ascent offers fixed interest rates and interest-only payments during the program and for 3 months after the program ends, at which time principal + interest payments begin.

+ Does the part-time program offer refunds?

Students can receive a prorated refund of up to 60% of the Part-Time Coding Bootcamp module completed. The tuition or cost of the module is considered earned after 60%.

+ Does the part-time program help students to pursue employment?

Students will receive in-depth and industry-leading assistance in pursuing employment and being job-ready upon being accepted to the 2nd module. The second module requires applicants to successfully complete Module 1 in order to be accepted.

+ Do I need commercial programming experience to join the part time program, or any of the individual modules

Students do not need to have any prior programming experience to join the program. However, students with no programming experience will need to begin with module 1 and take each module in sequence up to the individual level of knowledge and skill the student desires.

+ Can I start with any module first?

Module 1 requires no prior knowledge or experience. Students looking to join Module 2 simply need to ensure that they possess the required knowledge and skills as outlined for the particular module upon registering for the course.

Once a student registers they will be provided with a comprehensive list of technical skills that are necessary to participate in the module and will need to be able to pass a technical assessment.

+ What is the application process like, and what are the requirements for admission?

To apply students must register for and complete the Web Development prep course. Requirements for the program are as follows:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Possession of a personal laptop
  • Successful completion of the Introduction to Web Development course

+ Can I take these modules if I've already graduated from the Full-Time Program?

All LearningFuze alumni have access to all courses at a discounted rate to assist students with brushing up on their skills or learning new skills at any time including:

  • Part-Time Coding Bootcamp
  • Data Science Bootcamp
  • Upskill Short Courses
