Live instruction with the option to participate remotely in both the Orange County and San Diego locations. A curriculum designed to make students development and employment ready. The Part-Time Comprehensive program is the first modular program of its kind tailored to students who are looking for a part time alternative to the full immersion program. It is designed to deliver the same content of the full immersion program, but with the needed flexibility to take the program over time, in steps or “modules” based on your schedule.
Additionally, students looking for skills and knowledge in a particular technical area, but not necessarily all 5 modules, can simply choose to take an individual module or take a chosen track (front end, back end, or full stack) of their choice. Simply apply and ensure that you are ready to get the most out of the instruction. Of course, whether taking an individual module or two, or a specific track, the program is all about learning the practical skills of development by building numerous full scale projects in a work like environment led by seasoned instructors.
The program is broken down into 5 different modules of 8 weeks each. Students can choose to focus on the front end development track (3 relevant modules), back end development track (3 relevant modules), or full stack track (4 relevant modules). The 5th module (Capstone Course) is completely optional for those students looking for career services support.
To get the maximum benefit from each module, students are expected to be able to commit between 15 to 20 hours per week including instructional hours. Though students are encouraged to participate in-person at our facility, the program is flexible in that it allows for remote participation if required. The following is a brief overview of each module. For detailed module information, and to register for each of the modules, please click on the "Learn More" links below:
The full immersion is conducted in a condensed, intensive 12 week period of time. In contrast, the part time program is taken in modules over an extended period to ensure students with all schedule types are able to commit the necessary focused hours found in the full immersion program. Despite these differences, both programs culminate with graduates that are professionally ready to compete for jobs in the market and develop production ready code. The part time program is optimized for students who are not able to take the full immersion option due to employment or personal obligations.
Each module of the program is $2,995. Students that take advantage of the early registration discount can expect to pay $2,695. Payment can be made via credit, debit, cash, or check. Students can also apply for a loan through Skills Fund for each individual module. Skills Fund offers fixed interest rates where interest only is paid through the 1st 4 months after class begins and principle + interest thereafter.
Yes, students can obtain a prorated refund up to the end of the 4th week of the course.
Students will receive in-depth and industry leading assistance in pursuing employment and being job ready upon being accepted to the Capstone or 5th module. The final (5th) module requires applicants to complete an interview and a technical assessment administered remotely in order to be accepted, as its focus is on job preparation for skilled developers.
Students do not need to have any prior programming experience to join the program. However, students with no programming experience will need to begin with module 1 and take each module in sequence up to the individual level of knowledge and skill the student desires.
Other than Module 1, which requires no prior knowledge or experience, students looking to join any of the other modules (2 - 5) simply need to ensure that they possess the required knowledge and skills as outlined for the particular module upon registering for the course. Once a student registers they will be provided with a comprehensive list of technical skills that are necessary to participate in the module.
To apply students must register for the chosen module by providing contact information and follow the steps provided on the registration page. Requirements for the program are as follows: Students Must be 18 years or older, have a High School diploma or higher, possess a laptop, and have a sincere joy for learning and teamwork.
Yes, all of the Part Time modules are available to any of our Full Immersion Alumni (family) looking to expand upon or solidify the skills they have developed with us, free of charge.
