Our Full Time Training Course objectives revolve around hands-on coding projects and building viable web applications that will prepare you to compete for development jobs in the marketplace. We provide the tools and resources and contacts to make that happen! The Developer Bootcamp is modeled after our teaching philosophy which incorporates projects and fundamentals first, simulated work environments, and rapid failure progression to gradually become a proficient developer.


What You Will Learn:

GIT/GITHUB WORKFLOW

  • GitHub is crucial for modern developers to code in an efficient/professional workflow.
  • The entire curriculum is built into GitHub and we have intentionally structured it to be a part of the learning process and how we deliver our training methodologies for best results.

HTML5

  • Structure beautiful layouts for modern websites and utilize the full-feature set of HTML5.
  • Used to create mobile-friendly games.
  • You will master fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript first to be able to confidently dive into more complex coding challenges.

CSS3

  • With increasing support from major browsers, developers can start efficiently utilizing CSS3 to render elegantly on any device – desktop, phone, or tablet.
  • Used to increase expressive style.
  • Learn to use CSS3 before moving on to utilizing CSS frameworks.

JAVASCRIPT

  • Learn the world’s most utilized programming language to increase graphical user interfaces and interactivity of websites on the front-end.
  • Simplify programming with JavaScript with the large, easy-to-use jQuery library, and popular API’s.
  • Make building elegant UIs quick and easy with the ReactJS library.

E6+, WEBPACK, BABEL

  • Learn about all the latest tools integrated into the JavaScript language from ES2015 (ES6) onward.
  • Use the Babel JavaScript compiler to convert cutting-edge JavaScript code into a backwards compatible version that runs in more execution environments.
  • Configure Webpack to bundle dependencies for your application, including packages such as React.js.

REACT JS

  • React makes it painless to create interactive UIs.
  • Design simple views for each state in your application, and React will efficiently update and render just the right components when your data changes.
  • Learn one of the fastest growing frameworks in today's market.

NODEJS

  • Node.js is a platform for easily building fast and scalable network applications such as a web server.
  • You will learn how to create lightweight applications with real time communication.
  • JavaScript is the most commonly used programming language on earth. Node.js brings JavaScript to the back-end (server side).

POSTGRESQL

  • PostgreSQL is hailed as “The World’s Most Advanced Open Source Relational Database” and comes with many features aimed to help developers build fast and reliable applications.
  • Learn to store user-inputted data safely and organize it for quick retrieval later.

EXPRESS JS

  • Build custom Web servers using the most popular framework for Node.js.
  • Configure middleware, author endpoints, and much more within your Node.js applications.

DATA STRUCTURES

  • Data structures are a particular way of organizing data in a computer so that it can be used efficiently.
  • You will learn about data structures such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, heaps, binary trees and others.

ALGORITHMS

  • An algorithm is a set of rules used for calculations and problem solving operations.
  • You will be introduced to sorting algorithms, searching algorithms and recursive algorithms.
  • You will also learn how to plan out and write your own algorithms.

2 Week Prep Classes

The two-week Web Development Prep Course prepares you for the Full-Time program. Though there is a nominal charge they are free to accepted Full-Time students. The class utilizes curated and proprietary materials to cover fundamental HTML/CSS, JavaScript as well as GitHub. The curriculum teaches students to code by working through prototypes, exercises, tasks, presentations and projects to establish a solid baseline of skills as students transition into the in-class 14-week portion of the program.

14 Week In-Class

The LearningFuze in-class session continues with the full-stack curriculum over this 14 week in-class portion, specifically covering the most relevant and critical technologies in the marketplace which results in students acquiring a true depth of understanding that is crucial to a new developer. It is a project-oriented curriculum where you will have the opportunity to create up to 6+ different projects to include in your portfolio of work to show potential employers or to launch you into your dream start-up.

While we encourage and support those interested in forging start-ups of their own, our curriculum is optimized to also help graduates to find their first job in web development. At the conclusion of the program, students transition into finalizing their projects, presenting at the Demo Day, and starting our guided job search and process!
