Flexible, Modular Approach - This modular or part-time UI/UX program is tailored for students looking for professional skills in design. It is constructed for those that are currently working or have personal obligations that a part time program accommodates.
Class Structure and Learning - Each UI/UX design module is comprised of an in-depth 12 week curriculum built by industry professionals that allows students to gain the skills in both User Experience and User Interface to enter the industry professionally. Class sessions take place 3 days a week where students will gain a strong, practical understanding of how to create intuitive designs based on user wants utilizing powerful designs tools such as Figma.
Projects and Portfolio - Students will learn UI/UX design through a deliberate, practiced approach by working through relevant exercises and creating real world projects led by seasoned industry professionals. Students will learn what it takes to design professionally whether pursuing a career in design or adding serious value to current skills.
Students are expected to be able to commit between 15 to 20 hours per week including instructional hours. This UI/UX course is optimally structured for in-person participation at our campus facility in Irvine, CA. However, we have built in the flexibility to allow online participation when necessary.

According to Glassdoor and Robert Half, the median salary - which includes all levels of UI/UX designers - was $93,000 in 2018. In addition, the UI/UX design occupation is expected to grow 22% over the next 10 years.

Yes, all students who participate in Module 2 will produce a portfolio that can be utilized to showcase your work. The portfolio is also important in the job search process.
Students get the most out of the program by participating in-person. However, we can stream students into any particular session and we record all sessions if a student needs to be online for any particular class.
Each module of the program is $3,995. Students that take advantage of the early registration discount ($300) can expect to pay $3,695. Payment can be made via credit, debit, cash, or check. Students can also apply for a loan through Ascent for each individual module. Ascent offers fixed interest rates where interest only is paid through the 1st 6 months after class begins and principle + interest thereafter.
Students who register for either Module 1 or Module 2 one week or 7 days before the start of the module receive a $300 early registration discount which brings the cost of the Module to $3,695.
Students can receive a prorated refund up to 60% of the UI/UX design module completed. The tuition or cost of the module is considered earned after 60%.
